Asia are a multi-platinum-selling, global-superstar English rock band formed in London in 1981. As a band, Asia did what few from the prog-rock era were able to do: combine streamlined pop hooks into very sophisticated songs.

This 2LP release of the band's classic reunion album Phoenix contains all four original members: vocalist/bassist John Wetton of King Crimson, guitarist Steve Howe of Yes, keyboardist Geoff Downes of Yes, and drummer Carl Palmer from Emerson, Lake & Palmer. This release includes brand-new liner notes from Asia expert Dave Gallant.
